Revegetation Stage 2

Stage 2 of the revegetation around the quarry site covers an area of 65,000m2 over the overburden perimeter on the western side. It will retain focus on protecting remnant vegetation through fencing and additional revegetation.

The vegetation consists of a mix of large canopy trees, understorey, small trees and shrubs. Plant varieties include a range of eucalyptus, acacia and other species that were originally native to the area – this stage is to the west and south of the quarry.
